For Priscilla Boh, the past 22 years have been defined by an unwavering commitment to creativity, education, entrepreneurship and empowering others. Her journey has never been confined to a single profession. Instead, it has evolved across media, makeup artistry, fashion, education, modelling, business and community advocacy—each chapter building upon the last to create a career that is uniquely her own.

Graduating from Murdoch University in Perth with a Bachelor's Degree in Media and English, Priscilla developed a strong foundation in storytelling, communication and visual arts. From an early age, she was captivated by fashion, stage performance, beauty and media production, passions that would eventually become the cornerstone of a career spanning more than two decades.

​

In 2004, Priscilla began her professional journey as a makeup artist. Since then, she has worked across luxury weddings, commercial advertising, television, editorial productions, fashion campaigns, live events and corporate projects. Her work has earned the trust of countless brides, photographers, designers, production houses and brands seeking artistry backed by experience, precision and professionalism.

One of the greatest privileges of her career was learning under the late Lai Chan, Singapore's legendary couturier and founder of Lai Chan Atelier. Working alongside a master craftsman profoundly influenced her creative philosophy. From couture to beauty, she embraced the belief that excellence is found in meticulous craftsmanship, timeless elegance and uncompromising attention to detail. These principles continue to define her work today.

Beyond beauty, Priscilla has always believed that confidence is something that can be cultivated. This conviction inspired her to conduct makeup education programmes and confidence-building workshops for educators, corporate professionals, community organisations and private clients. Through every lesson, she encourages women not simply to wear makeup, but to understand it as a tool for self-expression, confidence and authenticity.

Her passion for communication also extended onto the stage. While pursuing her Master's studies in Special Education in Adelaide, Australia, she collaborated with photographers and creatives on editorial projects while simultaneously serving as both scriptwriter and host for Singapore National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations in Adelaide in 2010 and 2011. These large-scale community events welcomed audiences of approximately 10,000 attendees and showcased another dimension of her creative leadership.

Priscilla's influence reaches beyond beauty and media. Discovering the international plus-size movement became a defining turning point in her personal journey. Invited to represent Singapore at Full Figured Fashion Week in New York, she witnessed a community built on confidence, inclusion and empowerment. Inspired by the experience, she returned home determined to create meaningful change within Singapore.

She also walked the runway in regional fashion showcases across Singapore, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur, helping demonstrate that beauty, style and confidence are never defined by size.

 

Her entrepreneurial spirit naturally followed. As the founder of Curvy Godmama, she created a platform dedicated to celebrating women through fashion, confidence and community. The brand reflects values she has championed throughout her career—that every individual deserves to feel seen, represented and beautiful.

Throughout every chapter of her journey, one belief has remained constant: success is not measured by titles alone, but by the lives we inspire along the way.

Whether working behind the scenes as a makeup artist, speaking on stage, mentoring aspiring creatives, building businesses or advocating for confidence and inclusion, Priscilla continues to pursue meaningful work that leaves a lasting impact.
